Desex in the City - DOGS

FUNDING Secured for another 50 vouchers! - Desex your dog for only $119. SCARS is offering subsidised desexing vouchers for dog owners with genuine financial hardship. If you have a concession card or pensioner card please bring it along. As with the Cat program please come to the Refuge to purchase your voucher and then contact one of the following vets to arrange for your dog's procedure.. read more

DESEX in the CITY 2014/15

Exciting News - DeSex in the City IV is here. We have decided to make this an ongoing campaign available every year all year round! (As long as we have funds to commit) Sunshine Coast residents can purchase a $69.00 cat de-sexing voucher at the refuge. Our "Desex" campaigns are means tested - so you must present a pension card and / or healthcare card. You need to visit the refuge to purchase .. read more

Sippy Creek Rd is no longer accessible directly from the Bruce Highway. Please see information below on accessing the refuge now the road is closed from the Bruce highway! To visit us from: Northbound – take the Glenview Exit off the Bruce Highway and follow the service road along the front of Aussie World.
