Ways You Can Help
There are lots of different ways you can help the animals staying at the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge. Here are some ideas for you...Donate Now
We cannot survive without your donations and bequests. All financial donations over $2 are tax deductible. To help us continue to care for and re-home cats and dogs who have been abandoned, abused, and surrendered, you can make a donation of any amount you choose to the Sippy Creek Animal Refuge simply by clicking here.Bequests
We also rely on bequests from caring people who name us as a beneficiary in their will. If you wish to leave the refuge a bequest to help us care for and re-home cats and dogs, please click here for more information.Things We Need
We appreciate all kinds of donations, but often we simply need some everyday items to help us out. Click here to see our daily wish list.Volunteers
We cannot run our refuge without the help of our volunteers. We are always needing reliable, dedicated people to help care for the cats and dogs, seven days a week. For more information, or to apply to become a volunteer, please click here.Sponsor a Pen
We are inviting individuals and businesses to sponsor a dog or cat pen for 2012. Your sponsorship is one way of helping to contribute towards the care of hundreds of cats and dogs who come to the refuge to be re-homed. For more information and costs, please click here.Friends of SCARS
A Friend of SCARS is someone who has given the equivalent of $1 or $2 a week as a donation annually, and is recognised on our Friends page. These make a wonderful gift for someone who loves dogs and cats and likes to see them go to good homes. To become a Friend of SCARS or to buy one as a gift, please click here.Talking Tails for Kids
Our Talking Tails Club is for juniors (aged 3 - 17) who are interested in animal welfare. The cost to join the club is only $5 per year. You will receive a SCARS sticker, free tours for you and your school group to the refuge, and other events and workshops that we run each year. To join now please click here.Click here to see a list of organisations who already help us out so generously.
