Ways You Can HelpThere are lots of different ways you can help the animals staying at the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge. Here are some ideas for you...
Donate NowWe cannot survive without your donations and bequests. All financial donations over $2 are tax deductible. To help us continue to care for and re-home cats and dogs who have been abandoned, abused, and surrendered, you can make a donation of any amount you choose to the Sippy Creek Animal Refuge simply by clicking here.
We also rely on bequests from caring people who name us as a beneficiary in their will. You can also join our Animal Bequest programme. If you wish to leave the refuge a bequest to help us care for and re-home cats and dogs, pleaseclick here for more information.
Things We NeedWe appreciate all kinds of donations, but often we simply need some everyday items to help us out. Click here to see our daily wish list.
VolunteersWe cannot run our refuge without the help of our volunteers. We are always needing reliable, dedicated people to help care for the cats and dogs, seven days a week. For more information, or to apply to become a volunteer, please click here.
Sponsor a Pen
We have cat and dog pen sponsorships available. Your sponsorship is one way of helping to contribute towards the care of hundreds of cats and dogs who come to the refuge to be re-homed. For more information and costs, pleaseclick here.
Friends of SCARS
A Friend of SCARS is someone who donates on a regular basis, and is recognized as a Friend. A friend is someone who loves dogs and cats and helps them go to good homes. So if you support the aims and objectives of the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge, and to become a Friend click here.
Talking Tails for Kids
Our Talking Tails Club is for juniors (aged 6 - 16) who are interested in animal welfare. The cost to join the club is only $5 per year. This will entitle you to receive information regarding our activities, and you can then attend our school holiday activities, some of which will attract a small fee. To join now please click here.
