We are pleased to advise that our annual Long Lunch fundraiser returns 13 May 2023 at the BWMCA Memorial Hall.
Paws for a Cause Long Lunch is a finely catered 3 course lunch in the park, raising money for SCARS rescue cats and dogs - drinks included.
Enjoy fine food and drinks with your friends and our furry rescue friends, at our Paws for a Cause Long Lunch in the Park on Saturday 13th May. As always, we will be joined by some very special guests of honour - gorgeous cats and dogs who are available for adoption.

Sponsors and Prize Donations Needed
If you are a local business owner or manger and would like to support our lunch we are always looking for donations of vouchers, gifts and hampers that can be used in our raffle and auction on the day. The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge’s Annual Paws For A Cause Long Lunch event is now in its fifth year and represents the largest fundraising event for our organisation. These prizes help raise a huge portion of the funds on the day.
We also have event sponsorship opportunities available for businesses interested in helping our team put on an extraordinary event while directly supporting the care and rehoming of cats and dogs who find themselves at the Refuge through no fault of their own.
