"VOLUNTEERS"

If you love cats or dogs and you have a few hours spare, why not become a volunteer?
If you would like to volunteer, please contact the refuge office on 5494 5275. 


The Refuge is a not-for-profit, volunteer based charity that runs solely on the kindness and dedication of volunteers.  New volunteers are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

We always need an extra set of hands to get things done around the refuge, there is something for everyone.  
Everyday tasks like washing towels and dishes......... feeding and bathing the animals........ taking the dogs for a
walk or simply giving them a brush.

From time to time we also have maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing, gardening, emptying the food bins in local
shopping centres and repairing exercise yards.  Simply sitting with either the cats or dogs and giving them that
extra bit of affection helps.  It helps to improve their social skills and re-establishes/builds trust in the
mis-treated animals.
