All donations of $2 or more to the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge are tax deductible!
The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge Society has DGR status.

The Refuge is a not for profit, non-euthanasia, volunteered staffed organisation.
We depend heavily on donations and support from the public.

Your donation will help Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge continue to re-home dogs and cats.
You can make a donation for any amount you choose.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US TO HELP THEM

The Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge depends heavily on Donations and Bequest which generally comes from
the kindness and generosity of the community.

A Bequest to the Refuge means that we can continue to save Cats and Dogs from the local pound and can also
take in animals that can no longer be cared for by their owners. It will ensure that once in our care, that
these animals are given the best possible veterinary care and a chance of a new loving lifelong home.

Shame Files have graphical injuries. We have this page to show the unfortunate reality of some of the animals, that
come through our doors.

We are always looking for donations such as Shadecloth for making our dog beds. Our dog beds are
made and repaired on a weekly basis by our volunteers. Or we can use hessian potato sacks.

We also are always in need of general office supplies, things such as Whiteboard Markers, sticky Tape, memo pads,
Biro's (these always seem to go missing) Chalk and Zip Ties (Hardware supplies).

Kitten and Puppy food, we always seem to struggle to keep up supplies during the kitten season. We also like to cook rice and
pasta for the dogs breakfast, so any donations of rice, pasta, chicken wings, chicken frames etc is greatly accepted.

If you are renovating your bathroom, please consider donating your bath tub. During the warmer weather the dogs
like to keep cool just like the rest of us and are often seen cooking off in a bath tub or clam shell.

We are always looking for donations of Building Materials etc. for the ongoing repairs to dog pens and exercise yards (shade shelter repairs, wire, roofing, doors etc.) Basic handy man tools, Blankets, Towels, Water Buckets, Disinfectants & Bleach, Chew toys etc.
