IMPORTANT PRE-ADOPTION PUPPY INFORMATION
If you are intending to adopt any of the puppies listed on this page, please be aware of two important things:
1. 'When choosing to adopt a puppy, a $100 deposit is required in addition to
the purchase price of the puppy,
which
will be refunded in full when the
puppy is returned to the refuge for desexing at a later specified date.'
2. If you are living in a rental property, you must bring with you written approval from your real estate.
If you fail to bring this with you, you run the risk of missing out.

BAMBOO Adoption Fee $265
Male
Shihtzu x Maltese 1 year
Bamboo is a shy guy to start with, he has the
most
lovely
nature, a really nice little dog. He is
best suited
to homes
with children 6 years plus.
Regular grooming and
clipping
is a necessity to keep
him looking his best.

HONEY Adoption Fee $195
Female
Staffy x Cattle 5 years
Honey is a very happy natured girl, and very energetic,
she just loves to play. Honey seems okay with most
other
dogs. Honey is a large sized dog, bigger than a staffy.
And yes, Honey does have ears.

CHELSEA Adoption Fee $225
Female
Border Collie x 3 years
Chelsea is an incredibly active dog, we would
prefer
an
acreage home for her with room to move
or very
energetic
owners who are going to commit
to daily running.
Chelsea
has a lovely nature and
gets on well with other dogs.

PATCH Adoption Fee $245
Male
Maltese x Terrier 6 years
Patch is still very active and has a happy outgoing nature.
Patch is not a suitable dog at all for either children or
elderly people. He requires regular grooming and he is not
fond of this, a patient owner with good pack
leadership is needed.

ZAC Adoption Fee $250
Male Shetland x Collie x Cattle 18 months
Zac is a highly energetic dog who needs an acreage
home with energetic new owners, he is a smart boy and
can escape out of gates /doors if left open. He is
still very
puppy like and would benefit from training.

SPOOKY Adoption Fee $225
Male Husky/Wolfhound/Bull Arab 1.5 years
Spooky is a lovely natured boy who seems to get on
with similar sized dogs. He has a lovely nature and is a
very friendly boy who will need a fair bit of exercise.

"SPECIAL NEEDS PET"

HENRY Adoption Fee $150
Male
Belgian Shepherd x 5 years
Henry may have epilepsy, he has had a fit while in refuge,
had one 10 mths previous according to previous owners.
Would do best with a stay at home owner as he can bark
if left alone too long. This boy is well worth the commitment
as he has a lovely nature, great personality, a favourite with
the volunteers. Henry is okay with other dogs. Please come
in and meet him.

HAYLEY Adoption Fee $250
Female
Bull Arab x Greyhound 18 months
Hayley seems okay with most other dogs. When Hayley
first arrived at the refuge, she had to be treated for tick paralysis and was administered the anti-tick serum. She has
since made a great recovery and is ready for a new start in
life. Hayley is a large dog.

RINGO Adoption Fee $250 + $100 desex bond
Male
Crossbreed 13 weeks
Ringo is your typical puppy, except we're not
quite sure what breed he is. He could end up growing
into a big dog. Like all pups, Ringo will
do all the
puppy
things like chew,
dig and destroy things. Training
and
socialization with
dogs and
other
animals is beneficial
to all pups. One training class is included in Ringo's
adoption fee to help you get started.

TROOPER Adoption Fee $275
Male Labradoodle 2 years
Trooper is a very happy and bouncy dog, we
recommend no very young kids due to the fact he
will knock them flying. He is very good on lead and
knows the basics and can shake hands. Trooper will
require regular grooming.

JETT Adoption Fee $245
Female
Labrador x 16 months
Jett is a very energetic dog with a nice nature. She is
still a young girl who really must have training and
plenty of exercise.

PAULA Adoption Fee $250
Female
Boxer x Great Dane 2 years
Paula is slightly timid, but has come out of her shell a
lot since arriving at the refuge. She will require good
fencing to keep her safe and she also seems okay with
most other dogs.

TILLY Adoption Fee $245
Female
Red Cattle x Jack Russell 5 months
Tilly will require a acreage home. She is a highly active,
young working dog, okay with kids. Tilly must have plenty
of exercise and training.
Like all pups, Tilly will
do all the
puppy things like chew,
dig and destroy things. Training
and socialization with
dogs and
other
animals is beneficial
to all pups. One training class is included in Tilly's
adoption fee to help you get started.

HARPER Adoption Fee $200
Male
Cattle x Border Collie 9 months
Harper is a very active dog, of working breed. His
new
home will need plenty of room to run around in. ie.
an acreage
home is recommended. No young kids please,
kids 8 years
plus. Harper is a bit of a shy guy and
is currently learning
to be social with other dogs.

BANJO Adoption Fee $170
Male
Kelpie x 8 years
Banjo seems ok with most other dogs. He has a
very calm nature. In general this boy is a very
nice, friendly dog.

BARNEY Adoption Fee $250
Male
Wolfhound x 18 months
Barney is VERY strong dog, the strongest dog on
lead in the refuge. He has a great nature and loves to
run around. Please test with cats and kids at this
stage this is unknown to us.

TUXEDO Adoption Fee $225
Male Border Collie x 4 years
Tuxedo is a bit of a timid boy, and needs some
encouragement to give him confidence, he is okay
around other dogs, at this stage we are unsure about
cats or children. This boy will need good secure
fencing to help keep him safe and plenty of exercise as
he is an energetic breed.

JESSIE Adoption Fee $225
Female
Blue Cattle X Kelpie 4 years
Jessie is a friendly girl, eager to please. She knows
her basic obedience, sit and shake. Jessie seems ok
with most other dogs and is ok with older children. Due
to Jessie's breeding, she is best suited tom acreage
type homes.

HAPPY HARRY Adoption Fee $225
Male
Labrador x Beagle 4 years
Happy Harry is happy all the time. He will need plenty
of exercise and training, seems okay with similar size
dogs, no tiny kids please due to being knocked flying!
He is not for children under the age of 10-12 years old.

COOPER Adoption Fee $225
Male
Staffy x 1 year
Unfortunately Cooper has returned to the refuge
through no fault of his own, his new owner had to go
overseas on a family medical emergency and absolutely
loved him. Cooper is a solid, strong boy who knows his
basic
obedience. He will sit and "get on his bed".
Cooper
will most likely need good secure fencing.

SNOWY Adoption Fee $150
Male
Cattle x 9 years
Snowy is a adorable aging gent who would prefer his new
home to be free from young kids. He's really looking
forward to a peaceful retirement. Snowy does have some
basic obedience and he also seems fine with most other dogs.

KANE Adoption Fee $150
Male Ridgeback X 8 years
Kane is friendly boy looking for a place to call
home
for his retirement. He is still a very active
dog who is
very strong on his lead.

DOZER Adoption Fee $245
Male Staffy X 7 months
Dozer is almost the complete package. He is good
with kids and other dogs. Dozer has good basic
obedience and would quickly pick up any new tricks.
Dozer is a excitable energetic dog who will need daily
exercise, a trip to the dog park or a run around the block.

DIESEL Adoption Fee $225
Male Border Collie x Cattle x Kelpie 3 years
Diesel has a lovely nature and is okay around other
dogs, he seems okay with cats and loves children and
jumping on a trampoline with them. He will need secure
timber fences, no wire please and plenty of daily exercise.

WEBKE Adoption Fee $250
Male Staffy 4 years
Webke can be dominant with some other dogs, and is
probably best suited to a single dog home. Secure timber, colourbond or brick fencing is needed, no wire please.

BLUE Adoption Fee $195
Male
Ridgeback X 4 years
Blue is a beautiful loving dog who is not doing at all well
in our refuge, we are desperately seeking a “forever”
committed home for this boy, as he is wasting away in
body and is currently very depressed.
Blue needs and wants an experienced pack leader to guide
him with both firmness and kindness. A stay at home or
work from home owner is required for this boy, no rentals
please as Blue needs stability. Currently Blue is out of the
refuge for some TLC, please phone if you would like to
come and see him. Although Blue has great basic obedience
we will provide a free class to give Blue the best start possible in his new home.
