Friends of SCARS
A Friend of SCARS is someone who has given the equivalent of $1 or $2 a week as a donation annually, and is recognized as a Friend. A friend is someone who loves dogs and cats and likes to see them go to good homes. So if you support the aims and objectives of the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge, you can become a Friend by completing the form below.
Your Friendship Makes a Difference
A donation of $25 feeds four cats on good quality food for one whole week, or will microchip one dog.
A donation of $50 vaccinates two dogs or will microchip 2.5 cats.
By microchipping all of the animals who come to SCARS, we hope to ensure that if they are ever lost again, they can be returned to their owners safe and sound.
Our Aims are;
- To provide refuge for as many lost, abandoned and abused cats and dogs that we can physically cater for.
- To ensure all the cats and dogs at the refuge receive the best care and medical treatment until they are re-homed.
- To de-sex, vaccinate and micro-chip all cats and dogs who are admitted to the refuge.
- To maintain a strictly regulated non-euthanasia policy.
- To promote responsible pet ownership through an education programme.
