Slater seems ok with other dogs, any potential new doggy friend will need to come and meet him before going home.  To become a better mannered boy, Slater needs obedience training and plenty of socialization, which he has not had.  We are unsure how Slater is with cats or kids at this stage, this we can test before going home.
