Lexus is a good natured big girl, loves people, is pretty good to walk on leash and is house trained. It is unknown to us if Lexus has ever lived with another dog or children, so a meet and greet would need to be done here at the refuge with both, before she went to her new home. Lexus does have a fear of some men, so it is really important that any males in the family or extended family do come in to meet with her. This girl may be best in a female only home. At this point in time it is unknown to us how Lexus may be around chooks or livestock. What we do know about Lexus is that she must have escape proof containment. She does like to be with her owner more often than not, so a work from home or retired owner is a must for her. Lexus has seperation anxiety, and can jump over high solid fences, so another form of containment is necessary to keep her safe. We would see an extended family situation, with someone being around most of the time would be best for this dog. Lexus enjoys spending time with you in the garden or sitting by your side and does bond strongly with her owner. This girl is eager to please, and will make a wonderful companion dog for the right person or family.
