I'll be for adoption at the Cooroy Fusion Festival on Sat 11th May, come and meet me there! If I don't get adopted, I'll be back on Sunday 12th May at the refuge.
Come and Meet the adorable Homer. He was sadly surrendered due to his owners moving and not being able to take him with them. He has lived with children primary school aged children, another dog, cats and has also spent time around horses in his previous home. Homer is very energetic and will need to go for a solid run every day, would make a great working dog and will need to live on large property/acreage. Homer loves his food, which makes training a breeze as he loves his treats and eager to please. He'd benefit from further socialisation and interactions with other dogs, training and going to new places as he is still a bit of pup. Homer travels well in the car, especially if he knows it's to go for a run on the beach and a dip! He enjoys having a game with a variety of toys and is used to living outside. Secure fencing in a fully enclosed yard or containment area is needed to keep Homer safe.
